We had a great stay here! by Cassandra 07/14/2019
My friend and I had a great stay here. When we booked the tipi, we weren't aware that there were cabins on site so though the tipi looked great (just as expected), we checked in with Jerry to confirm we could upgrade to one of the cabins. The bathrooms were spectacular - spacious, clean, and modern - far nicer than we were expecting; and the shared kitchen was also large and had everything we needed. Jerry was a good communicator and we appreciated the lovely welcome card left for us in the tipi. This is in true nature so there are definitely some bugs, though what looked like Jurassic-sized mosquitos didn't actually bite us, which was a very pleasant surprise. I'd definitely stay here again.
Hébergement atypique by Marion 07/14/2019
Very nice host, everything was as described on the webpage by Thomas 06/12/2019

Great place to stay. Cabins are very nice. Great view of the mountains. by Scott 06/12/2019
Great place to stay. Cabins are very nice. Great view of the mountains.
Had a great time by Colby 06/12/2019
Deer all around. It's a short hike to take your stuff to the tipi. Bathrooms were well furnished and clean. LTE was available at the tipi as it's at the top of the hill. Expect temps to be much cooler than blanding at night. My only complaint is that the hot water pressure and temp result in a cold shower.
Very authentic tipi by Cody 06/12/2019
Authentic and affordable way to really get in touch with a true Utah outdoor experience. Mountains in the backdrop with private shower/bathroom facility.
The Tipi was AWESOME!! by Casey 10/31/2018
The Tipi was awesome!!! I was staying here alone and could not have asked for a better experience. the amenities around the Tipi surpassed any expectations I might have had. Jerry was very responsive and when I mentioned coming alone and wanting to do some exploring, he sent me a long list of ideas and suggestions. I will definitely be staying here again if I’m in the area!!
Stars were amazing! by Catherine 10/31/2018
The stars were amazing from the Tipi! The Tipi is exactly as the pictures so still camping feel but the showers and kitchen area were very nice and had everything we needed and more. After a few days camping through national parks it was great to have somewhere to get a hot shower and a hot cup of coffee in the morning.
Roughing it without roughing it! by Amy 10/31/2018
This was the most amazing rugged place to stay without feeling like we were roughing it. The kitchen and pavilion are great and the restrooms are perfectly stocked for comfort and convenience. How great it is to take a hot shower when you are camping without having to pack your whole bathroom sink! I will come here again for sure!
Beautiful property! by Carolina 09/18/2018
We had a great stay at the tipi. While we brought our own sleeping bags/blankets, the tipi had four cots set up including sleeping bags. There was also an extension cord with a lamp which was very convenient. The bathrooms were impeccably clean, with towels and shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided. Would highly recommend to travelers in the area!
Everything exceeded our expectations. by Darci 09/10/2018
Stayed in the tipi and had a great time. Everything exceeded our expectations. The tipi had an extension cord with a lamp plugged in and 2 available power outlets. The kitchen at the pavilion had 2 fridges and was very clean especially considering the more rustic outdoor conditions. The bathroom was also very clean and was equipt with towels, washcloths, and shampoo
It was AWESOME! by Jose 09/10/2018
This was my first time staying in a tipi and it was awesome! The tipi and surrounding area were beautiful. It was great that the tipi had an outlet where we could charge our phones overnight. The nearby restrooms/shower were very clean and stylish. When we arrived Jerry stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area
Loved the teepee by Altie 09/10/2018
Waking up to a sunrise with deer walking by right outside your teepee- definitely an experience! The facilities are great- a really nice bathroom and kitchen fully stocked, really quiet with great views. I have to say, I'm really not a camping person and I was panicking at being outside in the dark with nature, but I ended up having a good sleep and enjoyed myself. They left us sleeping bags and water bottles! Really nice hosts.
Nice tipi! by Dylan 09/10/2018
Easy to get to. Nice tipi. Stayed dry in some rain we got.
Perfect for us by Quiertart 09/10/2018
The stay in the tipi was perfect for us. Better than we imagined. The toilets and shower are very clean and fitted like in a 5 star hotel (also warm water). It was a great experience for us staying at this place and we we highly recommend it!
Highly recommended by Lilla 09/10/2018
I love the tipi a lot. It is clean and stylish. Very unique experience. The bathroom and kitchen are amazingly clean. Although my friends were a little bit concerned about the tipi door cannot be locked, but I don’t really care. Highly recommended!!!
Beautiful scenery, too much noise by Darbie 09/10/2018
The tipi was an interesting and cool experience. Exactly as described in the posting. Sadly, there was so much noise from the road, barking dogs and loud neighbors, I didn't sleep a wink. Scheduled 2 days, only stayed 1.
A great experience by Leopold 09/10/2018
We had a great time staying in the Tepee. It was a great experience and we would totally visit again. For anyone who’s looking to go camping near Monticello we recommend Jerry’s place.
Great accomodation by Nicola 09/10/2018
Very good place, a picturesque camping with some accomodation in teepee, a tipical Indian tent. The restrooms are in a communal area and are very clean. Also the rooms are very clean. Very good accomodation!”

A spectacular experiece by Martin 06/13/2018
I had a spectacular experience at Jerry's teepee. Looking at the glowing tent in the cool night air surrounded by the stars in the sky will be a vision that I will never forget. The amenities that were provided were also great. I loved the bathroom. I also loved the convenience and supplies that were provided in the community kitchen. The hot cocoa and coffee were a nice thing to have during the cool night around the fire.”
Loved our stay here by Jonas 06/13/2018
We stayed here on our way from Arches National Park to Monument Valley. The location was great and the tipi easy to find with the driving directions. The bathrooms were very clean and even shower gel and shampoo were available. The kitchen was also fully equipped. Definitely a great deal! The only issue that arose was that it got really cold at night. However, considering we booked the tipi we should have checked the weather earlier and prepared better. So once you book, make sure you check the weather and bring extra blankets
Added an element of fun to our road trip by Kate 06/13/2018
The night in the Tipi added an element of fun to our road trip. It was all as described, the pavilion was well stocked with things we might need to cook with, and the bathrooms were super clean and nice. It was an excellent value on the holiday weekend. And just an hour outside of Moab.
A great experience by Alex 06/13/2018
Jerry’s tipi was a great experience. We arrived to a nice note and water, and the facility was really clean. I’d definitely stay again!

We stayed in the teepee at Canyonlands lodging. by Cortney O 04/01/2018
We stayed in the teepee at Canyonlands lodging. It is the perfect location for adventure in every direction and gave us quick access to a wonderful day hiking the Needles District. The facility is clean, well thought out, and very helpful. The bathhouses are well equipped, the kitchen complex is fantastic, and the teepee on the hill is just perfect. Just prepare for a cold night if you come in the spring! We will definitely be back.
very timely with responses by Abby Klatch 10/17/2017
Jerry’s Tipi place went above and beyond expectations! Bathrooms were so nice, even had hot water and a space heater. Jerry is also very timely with responses. Also not a far drive to arches and canyonlands. Would highly recommend staying here!
I will definitely be back to stay again! by Dani 10/11/2017
My friend and I came to Utah to explore Canyonlands and Arches and the tipi at Canyonlands Lodging was amazing to stay in. The property is wonderfully kept with clean bathrooms and showers, a kitchen stocked with all your cooking needs, and a landscape that is breathtaking to wake up to every day. It’s quiet and remote which is great for decompressing and re-energizing. I will definitely be back to stay again!
awesome stay in the tipi! by Danielle King 10/09/2017
We had an awesome stay in the tipi! The property is beautiful and quiet. The bathrooms/showers were super clean and have hot water which was much appreciated in October. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, plates and pots/pans. We were very impressed with how well-kept the property is. We hope to come back and stay again!
The tipi was fantastic by Zach Watkins 10/03/2017
The tipi was fantastic - it was windy while I was in this part of Utah, but the tipi kept my dog and I sheltered. The real bonus was the bathrooms and kitchen at this site - far more comfortable than I ever expected. This is an awesome little space, with fantastic views, perfect for when you want to get away from it all without quite getting away from it all. Thanks, Jerry!
clean and cozy! by Simon Freeburn 09/19/2017
Really cool place to stay, clean and cozy!. The Tipi was awesome!.
We enjoyed our stay by Aadi 09/12/2017
We enjoyed our stay at Jerry's tipi. Jierry was great and very responsive and accommodating. He checked in with us and made sure we reached safely. The tipi was amazing. Thank you Jerry for hosting us!
exactly as described by Kristen Hwang 09/12/2017
The tipi was exactly as described and we enjoyed a tranquil night there. The amenities (bathroom and kitchen) were immaculate and it's clear Jerry put much thought and care into the comfort of his guests. The location isn't hard to find if you follow Jerry's instructions. We were traveling from Canyonlands to Monument Valley and this was the perfect midpoint.
Great location for outdoor activities by Marissa Hatfield 09/11/2017
Great location for outdoor activities. We visited many of the national parks in the area, and some local watering holes. The kitchen was well equipped including a coffee pot. We stayed in the tipi and packed only our bedding, toiletries, and food. It had everything we needed, without having to pack it! Highly recommend the teepee, it was a fun experience.
It was a real treat by Linda Gardner 08/16/2017
It was a real treat to stay in our tipi! The experience was fun, the countryside was beautiful - hope to stop back on our next visit to the Canyonlands!
The site was great! by Alycia 08/03/2017
They had everything you could think of needing! It was nice and quiet and within a short drive of the national park!
Loved the Tipi by Christian Pina 06/28/2017
Loved the Tipi and really appreciated the very clean and well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. A little out of the way if you're attempting to visit Moab or AZ but I preferred it that way so that I wouldn't have to deal with the Moab crowds. I would definitely stay here again.
Loved it! by Dane Kuplicki 06/21/2017
Fantastic place with lots of amenities! Everything was very clean and the grounds were stocked with everything you need. Loved it! (Tipi).
We would definitely consider staying again! by Sarah 06/13/2017
“This is such a fun night. The Tipi is literally a bare minimum tipi & cots over rocks but it was something different and a memorable experience. They did leave towels and bottles of water which I felt like was a nice touch and really appreciated. The bathrooms down the path were really clean and a place I felt comfortable showering and going to the restroom. The kitchen area was great. We utilized the fire pit for some smores with our kids. The scenery was lovely and we even took a walk around the grounds. We would definitely consider staying again if we find ourselves in the area."
This is a great place to stay if you're up for a sampling of rugged. by Gary 06/13/2017
This is a great place to stay if you're up for a sampling of rugged. The tipi was amazing. My wife and I had fun staying in it. I'd definitely stay again. My only regret was that we were not able to stay longer and enjoy the amazing property.
Perfect stay for an overnight between hiking in different parks. by Chloe 05/30/2017
Perfect stay for an overnight between hiking in different parks. The provided cots were comfortable and the location was easy to find with the directions Jerry provided. The shared community space was great quality!
I stayed in the tipi and it was exactly what I was looking for, simple and unique. by Justin 05/23/2017
I stayed in the tipi and it was exactly what I was looking for, simple and unique. However it did get cold during the night so make sure to be aware of that. The bathroom and other public facilities were also very nice clean.
奇妙的体验,很高的性价比,很喜欢厨房,简直就是齐全的无比,我们到的很晚,如果早点到还可以去bbq,因为场地和工具都很好 by Tianhao 05/16/2017

Wonderful experience, very high cost, like the kitchen, is simply very complete, we went to late, if you can go to the early bbq, because the venue and tools are very good
