Great location. Fun getaway from busy life.
This place was beautiful by Baylee 08/30/2018
This place was beautiful! Day and night. The stars were incredible and the view of the lake was to die for. Such a great location, private and cozy. Definitely a good time.
We had a great time! by Kent 08/30/2018
We had a great time. It was refreshing to be out of cell phone service range and reconnect as a family The property was well maintained and was the perfect size for our extended family.
We absolutely loved it! by John 09/12/2017
My wife and I decided to spend a long weekend in the cabin to get some rest and check out Moab. We absolutely loved it! The cabin had more amenities than we were expecting -- a nice shower, full kitchen with a refrigerator, and a comfortable queen bed. The cabin is completely off the grid and cell service wasn't available (a bonus for us), though we found that we could get cell/internet service by driving to the top of the hill. The cabin is very secluded, and the views are stunning. The night time views were my favorite -- the stars were spectacular. Do be aware that the cabin is at a pretty high elevation, so it took some time to get used to (which bothered my wife more than it did me).
Our extended family (of 30) just spent four nights in Camp Jackson Lodge. by The Nelsons 08/17/2015
Our extended family (of 30) just spent four nights in Camp Jackson Lodge. It was a wonderful setting for a nature-loving family like ours, located in the middle of the Manti-La Sal National Forest. There are great hikes in the surrounding mountains, and some long ATV trails that made us wish we'd rented some four-wheelers. The kids LOVED the paddleboats on the private lake and used them constantly. Note that there is no TV and no microwave, so you'll want to plan accordingly. Also, the Lake Cabin is powered with a hydroelectric system. I highly recommend a stay. We'll likely be back in the near future.

This is the third year we have scheduled our family reunion at Camp Jackson. by Ann 08/06/2014
This is the third year we have scheduled our family reunion at Camp Jackson. We are already scheduled for 2015 and looking at dates for 2016 as well. The owners have taken great care of us and provided us with outstanding service. We love the privacy, the lodge, the lake, the beautiful views, the hiking, the weather, the wildlife, everything.
We have had our family reunion at Camp Jackson for the past 3 years and we absolutely LOVE it!! by Jenny 08/06/2014
We have had our family reunion at Camp Jackson for the past 3 years and we absolutely LOVE it!! Every year my children and I look forward to the time we'll spend in the beautiful mountains and cool weather. It is one of my favorite escapes. We are never bored, there is so much to do. We explore the mountain trails, play in the water on the paddle boats, enjoy the campfire while roasting smores, pick bouquets of wildflowers, collect natural treasures, and build our annual "fairy house". I love to spend time in the serenity of the woods with my family and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life. Absolutely recommend a trip to Camp Jackson!!
We have stayed at the Camp Jackson property for the last two years for our family reunion. by Ann Call 07/26/2013
We have stayed at the Camp Jackson property for the last two years for our family reunion.
We searched a long time trying to find a big enough place to accommodate all of us, but still be reasonable in price.
Last summer was our first time. Everyone loved it so much we decided to come again this year. Because we love it so much we are returning the next two summers.
We are big enough that some people need to sleep in tents, but there is plenty of room during the day for all of us.
The kids loved the lake with the paddle boats. We saw deer wandering every day. We had fires at night and roasted marshmallows.
It is beautiful!!!
Thank you for providing such a wonderful place at a reasonable price.
This was the most amazing place to bring our family for a reunion. by Becky Ray 07/24/2013
This was the most amazing place to bring our family for a reunion. We had 58 people attending. The Jackson retreat was everything we could have dreamed of. It was so beautiful in every way. We saw so much wildlife and we had a great time on the little lake with the paddle boat and our kayaks. The beds were comfortable and we had enough for everyone. We used one of the bunk houses for the teenage girls and one for the the boys. They loved that. It rained almost every evening, but the main floor was big enough for our family gatherings and programs. The pavillion was ideal for our games and crafts. The frig space was limited, but we used our ice chest and got along just great. There was everything you needed there. My family raved about it. Thanks!!
